We’re all about keeping your skin protected during the day with our range of SPFs, and we’ve got you covered when it comes to all over body hydration with our body milks, but what about your face and décolletage at night? At night your skin goes into recovery mode, so it’s important to maximise the skin’s renewal process while you sleep tight.
Introducing our all new Good Night Skin Restoring Cream. This you-beaut, new night cream works to protect, restore and hydrate your skin so you can rest easy! It is uniquely designed with multiple clinically proven, 'active' ingredients to repair your skin, although is gentle enough for those not yet used to using actives. It has the feel of a luxury moisturiser so is perfect for anyone looking for the ultimate night moisturiser.
Our powerful anti-aging formula is designed to help balance and brighten skin tone, reduce the appearance of pigmentation and fight the visible signs of aging. It is packed full of skin-loving ingredients like Niacinamide (7%), Kakadu Plum Extract, Vitamin E, Vitamin B5 and Carnosine. (Phew, what a mouthful of ingredient goodness!) Below, we take a look at these ingredients in more detail:
Niacinamide is a must have in your daily skin regime. There is abundant evidence for its ability to repair sun damaged skin by reducing abnormal pigmentation and fine lines.
It also helps to reduce inflammatory conditions like acne and rosacea, as well as protect against infrared damage from the sun. It is a multifactorial skin superstar and present at a 7% therapeutic level in Good Night Skin Restoring Cream. Yep, that's right. 7%!
If you love our products as much as we do, you’ll know we’ve used the native Australian Kakadu Plum in a few of our products (Kakadu Plum Body Milk, Kakadu Plum SPF and Sensitive Body Milk), and for a very good reason. Studies show that the Kakadu Plum has some of the world's highest Vitamin C content. It is high in antioxidants to help protect against free radical damage caused by the sun, pollution and environmental toxins.
One of the most popular ingredients in skincare, Vitamin E, is used for its antioxidant properties and its effectiveness in combating free radical damage. It also contains moisturising properties making it the perfect addition to our nightly moisturiser.
Vitamin B5 is used as a skin protectant which contains anti-inflammatory properties. It can help improve the look and feel of your skin and is a regular in skincare products because of its ability to attract and hold moisture - hello hydration!
Carnosine is a skin-loving goodie that doesn’t get nearly enough attention in the skincare world. It’s known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and can assist in preventing and repairing fine lines and early signs of aging. Carnosine is also known for its benefits in infrared/blue light protection, as well as visible light protection. It has “anti-glycation” properties meaning it blocks damaging sugar molecules which bind to, and damage collagen in the skin.
Good Night also contains Macadamia Oil, Coconut Oil Extract and Aloe Vera.
Our all new Good Night Skin Restoring Cream is just what the doctor ordered (literally... Good Night has been developed by our very own, in-house skin doctor Dr Scott McGregor). Pair it with our new Good Morning SPF 50 for the ultimate duo that work to protect, restore and hydrate your skin for a fresher tomorrow!
