Enriched with Kakadu Plum, Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Omega 3, 6 and 9 for extra hydration and nourishment. Hero Ingredients:

Kakadu Plum Extract - known to have some of the highest Vitamin C content of any fruit, it is high in antioxidants to help protect against free radical damage caused by the sun, pollution and environmental toxins.

Castor Oil - creates a protective barrier for the lips. It helps to moisturise and hydrate lips, preventing dryness and cracking.

Cocoa Butter - works as a rich emollient that nourishes even the driest skin. It’s loaded with good-for-the-skin things like antioxidants, Vitamin E and polyphenols.

Shea Butter - known for its soothing and softening properties. It is known to have anti-inflammatory and healing properties helping to soothe chapped lips. While its antioxidants protect against environmental damage keeping lips smooth and healthy.

Vitamin E - one of the most popular ingredients in skincare, used for its antioxidant properties helping to neutralise free radical damage. When used in sunscreens, it can help to boost the effectiveness of UV filters, adding an extra layer of defence. Not to mention, it is incredibly moisturising!

Usage Instructions

Apply liberally to lips. Avoid prolonged exposure in the sun. Wear protective clothing, hats and eyewear, and apply sunscreen when exposed to the sun. Topical use. Store below 30˚C.

Do I really need broad spectrum on my lips?

Our lips are often forgotten about when it comes to skincare. Unlike our skin, lips don't have any sebaceous glands to keep them moisturised or any melanin (what causes our skin to tan/burn). Melanin is our body's natural way of protecting our skin from UV rays and without it, they're at a higher risk of burning. Our antioxidant-rich, Kakadu Plum Lip Balm SPF 50+ is made with Kakadu Plum Extract, Cocoa Oil, Shea Butter, Vitamin E and Omega 3, 6 & 9 for extra hydration and nourishment, plus broad spectrum protection to give you maximum coverage.

Can I use other sunscreen formulas on my lips?

Technically, yes but it is not recommended as the texture of regular sunscreen is not designed to stay on as well as a sunscreen formulated specifically for your lips. The skin on our lips is much thinner than the rest of our skin so requires specially designed formulas with moisture-rich ingredients. Plus, it’s made with a unique ‘plummy’ flavour so there’s no sunscreen aftertaste!

Should Kakadu Plum Lip Balm SPF50+ be used year round?

100% yes! Our lips are exposed to the elements no matter what the season. From the beach to the slopes, you should always wear a broad spectrum SPF 50+ lip balm.

    Wonderful fossil fuel free SPF lip balm

    It is bigger than the usual lip balms but it actually feels good putting it on a wider surface area than just your lips. I don’t mind the Kakadu Plum flavour but will try other flavours next time. Will definitely buy it again when this one runs out.

    AMAZING LIP SUNSCREEN

    This is the best lip sunscreen. I am prone to burning my lips and it is so great. I mail it to the US because it works so well.

    Love it!

    I have tried many Lip Balms with SPF and they all tasted awful and ended up in the bin! The Kakadu Plum Lip Balm is the first one I'm looking forward to using every day. :)

    the most long lasting and hydrating lipbalm

    I love how long lasting the hydrating effect this lip balm has, it keeps my lips feeling hydrated all day long. And the smell is also fantastic, I've been to kakadu national park and got tea leaves from there, this lip balm genuinely smells like it.

    Great feel!

    Love the way this balm feels, so light and smooth. I don't usually use lip sunscreen but I figured that my lips need protecting. Will keep using :)
